Welcome to

WILD PARROTS UP CLOSE

I would like you to join me on one of my organised Trips to see Parrots in their Natural Habitats.

I aim to find and watch as many of the Parrot species, from the magnificent Macaws to the dainty Parrotlets, as possible within the range of each trip and to encounter numerous other wonderful birds (typically in excess of 200 species), mammals and wildlife on our amazing journey with ample time to be able to photograph, video or simply observe their natural behaviours.

All of my trips are carefully designed to visit areas with active conservation programmes and lodges which support conservation such as Tambopata in Peru (Scarlet Macaws), Ara Project in Costa Rica (Scarlet and Great Green Macaws), Cristalino Junge Lodge in the Brazilian Amazon (Habitat Conservation), and REGUA (Reserva Ecologica de Guapi Assu) in the Atlantic Rainforest, Brazil (Land and Habitat Restoration)  -  obviously Parrot Projects are helping Parrots directly but also Land and Habitat restoration ultimately benefits all Parrots as well as other wildlife in the area.

By visiting these projects we are making a financial contribution towards these conservation projects which means anyone joining my trips will be helping to conserve the Parrots, other wildlife and habitats directly.

I want this to be a unique experience for you by arranging all Internal flights (where necessary), all transfers from and to airports abroad, all tours with English speaking guides, all accommodation and all meals.

These trips are designed to appeal to people from all walks of life with many travelling with me time and time again.
