BRAZIL - Campo Grande

BRAZIL - Campo Grande 2021

BRAZIL - NOVEMBER 2021
There will either be a Parrot Symposium in the 3 days between the two Blue Macaw Tours
​or we will be able to check out the macaw nesting sites around the city of Campo Grande.

Parrot Symposium Option
18th November - Arrive in Campo Grande, Brazil and transfer to hotel
19th November - Parrot Conservation Talks at a local conference centre
20th November - Morning Parrot Conservation Talks at local conference centre. 
Afternoon - Bus tour around Campo Grande to see some of the city nesting macaws
21st November - Parrot Conservation Talks at a local conference centre.
22nd November - transfer to airport for flights home or join me on the next tour of the Pantanal and Bahia.
Campo Grande Parrot Watching Option
​18th November - Arrive in Campo Grande, Brazil and transfer to hotel
19th November - Meet with the Macaw Project team who will show us some of the macaw nest sites around Campo Grande
20th November - Check out some more nesting sites looking for the natural hybridised Green-winged/Blue and yellow Macaws. 
Late afternoon we will check out the roosting sites of Blue-fronted Amazons and Yellow-faced Parrots.
21st November - Today we will continue what we were doing on the previous day or we could have a day off and stay around the hotel for the swimming pool or have a general tourist tour around Campo Grande.
22nd November - transfer to airport for flights home or join me on the next tour of the Pantanal and Bahia.
Parrots which are possible if we check out the Parrots around Campo Grande
Blue and Yellow Macaw – Ara ararauna
Green-winged Macaw – Ara chloropterus
Red-shouldered Macaw - Diopsittaca nobilis
White-eyed Conure – Psittacara leucophthalmus
Yellow-chevroned Parakeet – Brotogeris chiriri
Blue-fronted Amazon – Amazona aestiva
Yellow-faced Parrot – Alipiopsitta xanthops

Please note:-
I cannot guarantee seeing all or any of these Parrots however we will have a great guide to help us in every way possible.
We will see lots of other bird and animal species.
