PARROTS of the CARIBBEAN
January/February 2028
CARIBBEAN ENDEMIC AMAZONS
This will be an amazing trip to see all the Endemic Amazons of the Caribbean including all sub-species of the Cuban Amazon as well as the Endemic Conures of these islands that we visit.
There are also a number of other endemic bird species on these islands and once we have seen and photographed the Parrots we will then check out these other species.
DATES MAY CHANGE SLIGHTLY BUT IT WILL START IN JANUARY 2028
PLEASE NOTE
Originally planned for January 2027, due to Hurricane Melissa unfortunately Jamaica was hit very badly.
My guide is unable to access the area for the Amazon Parrots on Jamaica and it may be some time before this happens.
So I have put the trip back to 2028 to give them time on the island to get back to some normality
and being able to help us find the Amazons when we go.
To a lesser extent both Cuba and The Dominican Republic were effected as well.
I am monitoring the situation.
Also due to certain policies there is limited access to Cuba (only people with families may enter the country)
or not being able to go to any USA countries.
As part of this trip involves other USA countries (or countries influenced by USA) then I have had to drop going to Cuba
and moved, what was the extension trip to the Bahamas into the main itinerary.
