In Colombia we will be visiting the central areas to take in numerous Parrot species including some endemics and near-endemics such as the Yellow-eared Parrot and Saffron-headed Parrot.

PRICE of Main Parrot Trip
All costs are in $US $ per person sharing a double/twin room $ single supplement (if you do not mind sharing a room I can sometimes organise this to avoid paying the supplement) DEPOSIT $ per person All prices include accommodation, meals, english speaking guide, drivers and/or boatmen, ground transport within the trip specification, bottled water, entry fees to National Parks and/or Conservation Projects within the itinerary. Day 1 Arrive in Bogota - Santa Fe Real
Day 2 Chingaza - Santa Fe Real Brown breasted parakeet. Also feeders for hummingbirds Day 3 La Florida-Jardin Encantado-Tabacal-Honda - La Trampas Spectacled parrotlet, Yellow crown parrot, Blue headed parrot. Magdalena valley Day 4 - Bellavista and dirve to Rio Claro - Los Colores Lodge, Rio Claro White mantled barbet. Magdalena valley Day 5 - Rio Claro - Los Colores Lodge, Rio Claro Saffron-headed Parrot + birds of the Magdalena valley + endemic silvery brown bare-face tamarin. Magdalena valley Day 6 - Rio Claro and drive to Medellin -Hotel Extremadura Saffron-headed Parrot + birds the Magdalena valley + endemic silvery brown bare-face tamarin. Magdalena valley Day 7 - La Romera and drive to Jardin - Valdiva Plaza Hotel Red bellied grackle. Central Andes Day 8 - Las Ventanas Road - Valdiva Plaza Hotel Yellow eared parrot. Western andes Day 9 - Las Ventanas Road and drive to Rio Blanco - Rio Blanco Reserve Lodge Yellow eared parrot. Western andes Day 10 - Rio Blanco - Rio Blanco Reserve Lodge Golden plummed parakeet and Antpitta feeders. Central andes Day 11 - Rio Blanco-Nevados - Termales del Ruiz Rufous fronted parakeet. Also feeders hummingbirds. Central andes Day 12 - Santa Rosa de Cabal - Hotel Santa Rosa Indigo capped parrot or fuerte's parrot.
